Clare go into Wednesday night's final round of the Munster Hurling League in Sixmilebridge knowing that a win against Cork will ensure their place in the final against the Rebels next Sunday.

The Banner notched up their second win of the campaign in Dungarvan today as they ran out three point winners over Waterford on a scoreline of 2-19 to 3-13.

Clare's goals came from Cathal Malone and Ben O'Gorman in the first half. Clare had to work hard to preserve their lead when Brendan Bugler received his marching orders after picking up a second yellow midway through the second half.
