Colm Lyons (Cork) has been confirmed as referee for Clare's All Ireland Senior Hurling Championship quarter-final clash with Tipperary on Saturday.

Lyons last refereed Clare in Championship fare in May 2015 when the Banner met Limerick in Thurles. Patrick Donnellan and Seanie Tobin were both shown straight red cards.

The game throws in at 3.00 p.m. in Paírc Uí Chaoimh and will be broadcast live on RTE (TV) and Clare FM (Radio).
