A team representing Barry Smythe DIY in Ennis won the inaugural Club Clare Golf Classic at Woodstock Golf & Country Club on Friday last (12 May 2017).
More than 50 teams took part in the fundraiser from which all proceeds will go towards the provision of identified facilities, equipment and services for Clare hurling.
Established in January 2017, Club Clare is run by a team of volunteers who organise fundraising initiatives to support Clare's hurling teams from the U14 Development Squads right up to the senior team.
Club Clare successfully hosted a Scratch Card initiative during February and March while a Poker Classic was held last month.
