Clare captain Patrick O'Connor (Tubber) and talisman Conor McGrath returned to full training with the Clare senior hurlers in Caherlohan on Friday night.

Both senior players underwent surgery for shoulder injuries in late 2016. McGrath dislocated his shoulder while in club action while O'Connor opted for surgery on a longstanding shoulder complaint late last year.

Eire Óg's Shane O'Donnell is expected to return to full training in three weeks, Joint Managers Gerry O'Connor and Donal Moloney also have confirmed. O'Donnell underwent minor knee surgery in early March.
