Clare Senior Hurling Joint Managers Donal Moloney and Gerry O'Connor have confirmed that Clonlara duo Colm Galvin and Cathal 'Tots' O'Connell have resumed training.
Management have previously explained that the senior hurling panel remains open until after the National Hurling League.
Galvin and O'Connell last lined out for Clare in The Banner's 0-19 to 0-15 defeat to Cork in the Munster Hurling League in late January.
Meanwhile, management have also confirmed the return to training of Ben O'Gorman (Wolfe Tones na Sionna) following his recovery from a knee strain picked up in early February. Conor McGrath (Cratloe) and captain Patrick O'Connor (Tubber) are due to return in early April having both undergone shoulder operations in late 2016.
Clare's next outing is a crucial Round 5 NHL fixture with Waterford at Cusack Park on Sunday 26th March at 3.00 p.m. A win for either side will ensure their place in the Quarter Final stage of the League while a loss for either side could land them in a possible relegation play-off. A draw will favour Clare due to a more favourable score difference and would see The Banner progress to the Quarter Final stage of the competition.
Clare currently sit second in Division 1A behind Tipperary who are on 7 points and who are already through to the last 8.
