Clare's Podge Collins has been named on the GAA.ie Hurling team of the week.

The Cratloe clubman scored 4 points from play in Clare's 0-28 to 0-21 defeat to Tipperary in Semple Stadiu on Sunday.

Tipperary maintained their flawless 2017 Allianz Hurling League record, while Kilkenny and Waterford also registered important wins.

Davy Fitzgerald's Wexford still top the pile in Division 1B with Galway and Limerick earning victories also.

Clare's next outing is against Dublin in Cusack Park next Sunday at 2.00 p.m.
