Óisín O'Brien will undergo an MRI scan this week after picking up a knee injury in Sunday's Allianz NHL defeat to Tipperary.
The Clonlara clubman was stretchered off during the second half of the game which Tipperary won by 0-28 to 0-21. O'Brien's suffered the injury to his right knee after falling awkwardly.
O'Brien has been a regular at corner back for Clare since making his debut for Clare during last year's league campaign.
