Barry Kelly (pictured) has been named referee for Clare's third round game of the Allianz National Hurling League against Tipperary this coming Sunday (5 March) in Semple Stadium at 3.00 p.m.

The Westmeath man's most recent outing as referee in a Clare game came in the Banner's Qualifier victory over Laois at Cusack Park last year.

Clare will be seeking to secure a second straight win next weekend having beaten Kilkenny by 13 points in Ennis on February 19th.

Clare's clash with Tipperary will be preceded by the meeting of Tipperary and Longford in Division 3 of the National Football League at 1.00 p.m.
