Ballyea will face Cuala in the All-Ireland Club SHC final on St Patrick's Day after the Dublin champions defeated Slaughtneil by 3-21 to 2-11 at the Athletic Grounds on Saturday.

A win for the Ulster champions would have resulted in the All Ireland Final being pushed back as the club's footballers are set to appear in the All-Ireland Club SFC Final on the same day.

The Ballyea team features 5 members of the Clare Senior Hurling panel, including Vice Captain Tony Kelly, Niall Deasy, Jack Browne, Gearoid O'Connell and Paul Flanagan.
