Despite amassing 33% of the public vote, Clare's Aron Shanagher narrowly missed out on being named GAA.ie Hurler of the Week.

Tipperary's John McGrath has come out on top in the public vote. The Premier County forward impressed during the All Ireland champions Allianz League win over Waterford at Walsh Park.

McGrath earned 2,100 votes on the GAA's official Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram pages with Clare's Aron Shanagher second and Laois' Stephen Maher third.
