Clare Senior Hurling Joint Managers Donal Moloney and Gerry O'Connor have confirmed that Podge Collins has returned to full training after picking up an injury in a Munster Senior Hurling League game.
The Cratloe clubman suffered a calf strain during Clare's opening round win over Kerry at Austin Stack Park in Tralee.
Collins' return to training is a welcome boost for The Banner as they prepare to take on Cork in the opening round of the Allianz National Hurling League on Saturday 11th February next in Pairc Uí Rinn at 7.00 p.m. The game will be broadcast live on eir.
Earlier this week, Óisin O'Brien and Patrick Donnellan returned to training while long term absentee Conor Ryan saw intercounty action for the first time in nine months when he lined out against Limerick last month.
